Patient Reported Outcomes of Antithrombotic Drug Management for Colonoscopy

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    Currently On Antithrombotic Medication
  • Age: Between 45 Year(s) - 75 Year(s)
  • Gender: Male or Female
  • Other Inclusion Criteria:
    1. Current NYU Langone patient
    2. On antithrombotic medication (antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs) either at the time of interview or in the year prior to the interview. These inclusive medications include: warfarin, apixaban, dabigatran, edoxaban, and rivaroxaban, clopidogrel, prasugrel, and ticagrelor.
    3. Currently scheduled for a colonoscopy or recently completed a colonoscopy (within the last year)
    4. Ages 45 to 75

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

    1. Not currently an NYU Langone patient
    2. Not on antithrombotic medication (antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs) either at the time of interview or in the year prior to the interview.
    3. Not currently scheduled for a colonoscopy or recently completed a colonoscopy (in the last year)
    4. Under the age of 45 or above the age of 75
