Multicenter Prospective Study of Surgical Outcomes in Patients with Neuro-endocrine Tumors

Brief description of study

Primary aims of this research include collecting more reliable clinical data so that we can have better analysis of our results regarding surgical outcomes in patients with neuro-endocrine. Through this effort, our clinical outcomes can continuously be monitored and the way we treat conditions can be adjusted to maximize effectiveness of patient care. The data we collect may also be used in future research projects to help guide clinical care. The population of patients consist of patients over the age of 18 who have undergone surgery for neuro-endocrine tumors. Data elements collected include patient reported questionnaires. The study aims to collect patient follow-up data for at least 6 months and up to 10 years. The expected study outcomes from collecting the patient questionnaires are to develop surgery outcome benchmarks, disease remission rates, understand drivers of treatment costs, and correlate treatment to patient quality of life using standard statistical methods.
