Non-invasive neurosurgical planning with Random Matrix Theory MRI

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Brain Tumor Patients

Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 99 Year(s)

Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
Inclusion criteria for healthy volunteers- Able and willing to provide informed consent
- Documentation of MR-safe implant
- In general good health, with no serious or unstable medical conditions
- All genders
- No contraindications to MRI scanning (pacemaker, implanted metallic objects, severe obesity or difficulty in laying in a supine position or any other condition that leads to difficulty in laying in the magnet, claustrophobia)
- Adults who were diagnosed with a brain tumor within 2 cm of eloquent regions that obtained a clinical preoperative brain scan (3T) at NYULH between from 8/2019 and 8/2021
- Documentation of MR-safe implant
- Age of 18-99 years
- All genders
You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

- Contraindications with MRI (e.g. pacemakers or ferromagnetic material near vital structures, etc.)
- All documented implants will be reviewed by the clinical MR technicians on staff.
- Pregnant women are not eligible for participating in this study
