A Phase 2b Double-Blind Study to Investigate the Effect of LY3437943 on Renal Function in Participants with Overweight or Obesity and Chronic Kidney Disease with or without Type 2 Diabetes

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety of the investigational drug (LY3437943) in the kidney, and how well it works to help participants obesity or overweight with chronic kidney disease. The main reason for you to take part in this study is not to treat you for your condition but to help in answering the following research questions:

  • How LY3437943 compares to placebo in helping people with obesity or overweight and chronic kidney disease with or without Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM).
  • The safety of LY3437943 and any side affects you might have when you take it.
