NEST Study: Neuro-Environmental Study of Fetal Developmental Trajectories
Brief description of study
Our goal is to learn how mothers and babies are connected at important developmental stages, during pregnancy and beyond. We hope to understand more about the healthy changes mothers go through during pregnancy, including brain changes. We will also look at different patterns of fetal and infant brain change. We aim to learn about factors shaping development at the earliest stages of life. You would have 3 visits spread out over a year and a half. At each visit, you would have an MRI scan, complete cognitive tasks, take surveys, and wear devices like an OURA ring and/or a fetal ECG monitor. We would also collect biological samples from you.
