NEST Study: Neuro-Environmental Study of Fetal Developmental Trajectories
Brief description of study
This a study that collects physiological and brain MRI data over the course of pregnancy in mother and fetus, then assesses child and mother twice in the first year of life. The study involves surveys, behavioral studies, and medical record extraction. This study also involves use of wearable technologies, short surveys via text messaging, biospecimen collection and brain imaging. We will characterize patterns of maternal and fetal physiology that relate to differences in maternal and child wellbeing and developmental outcomes. We will also establish a cohort of patients interested in future research on this topic.
