You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Type 2 Diabetes

Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 70 Year(s)

Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
- Self-identify as a Chinese immigrant
- Aged between 18 and 70 years
- Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (T2D) as documented in medical records
- Had an appointment with a physician for routine T2D care within the past 12 months
- Most recent HbA1c level is 8% or higher
- Willing to receive brief educational videos on T2D management
- Possess a smartphone, or if not, willing and able to use a study-provided smartphone
You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

- Unable or unwilling to provide informed consent
- Unable to participate meaningfully in the intervention (e.g., due to uncorrected vision and hearing impairments)
- Unwilling to accept randomization assignment
- Currently pregnant, planning to become pregnant within the next 6 months, or becomes pregnant during the study
- Currently breastfeeding (due to e.g., potential dietary restrictions)
