Noninvasive Vagal Nerve Stimulation for the Management of Symptoms Experienced in Multiple Sclerosis (VANISH-MS): An Open-Label Home-Based Study of taVNS and tcVNS Compared to tDCS
Brief description of study
Noninvasive brain stimulation devices are increasingly being used to enhance functioning in individuals living with MS. We are interested in identifying the most effective stimulation approaches and exploring how they can be administered at home with remotely supervised instruction via video visits. This study evaluates two different approaches to vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) and compares them to transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS).
