You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Peripartum Cardiomyopathy

Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 99 Year(s)

Gender: Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
- Current diagnosis of peripartum cardiomyopathy (PPCM)
- Post-delivery and within the first 5 months post-partum.
- Age = 18.
You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

- Previous diagnosis of cardiomyopathy, valvular disease or complex congenital heart disease (with the exception of women with a history of peripartum cardiomyopathy with complete recovery and a documented left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) > 0.55 prior to or in early pregnancy)
- Refractory hypertension (Systolic >160 or Diastolic > 95)
- Evidence of coronary artery disease (CAD)
- Previous cardiac transplant
- Current on durable Left ventricular assist device (LVAD) support
- Currently requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) support
- Current history of alcohol or drug abuse
- Chemotherapy or chest radiation within 5 years of enrollment
- Evidence of ongoing bacterial septicemia
- Medical, social or psychiatric condition which limit the ability to comply with follow-up
