Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

• Conditions:
  Hookah Use
• Age: Between 10 years - 45 years
• Gender: Male or Female

• Other Inclusion Criteria:
  

  Hookah Households
  1. At least one adult uses hookah in the home
  2. At least one adult who does not use tobacco products
  3. At least one child who does not use tobacco products; 4. No other tobacco products used in the household within 24 hours of air sampling
  Non-smoking Households
  4. At least one adult and one child who does not use tobacco products
  5. No smoking/vaping of tobacco products occurs regularly in the household, or within 24 hours of sampling

  
  

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

• Cigarette Smoking
  1. Current use of cigarettes
  2. Use of cigarettes within the past 12 months
  3. Greater than a 5 pack year smoking history
  4. Systemic or cardiovascular disease
  5. Current or past history of substance abuse
  6. Being pregnant
  7. FEV1 of <85% predicted
