Camp High 5 2016: Evaluation of the Effect on Upper Limb Function
Brief description of study
This study is looking to determine the benefits of a program forcing use of your child's weaker arm/hand followed by bi manual training (using the two hands together) in a camp setting for children with hemiplegia due to injury to the brain. Researchers hope to identify a difference in participant progress when comparing children wearing a cast for 24 hours a day for two weeks with children wearing a cast for three hours daily for two weeks. As children under the age of 18 cannot provide consent, investigators are asking parents provide consent for children to participate in this study.
