Controlling Behcet's Uveitis Through Transfer of Ex-Vivo Expanded Regulatory T Cells

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to see whether we can massively expand autoantigen-specific Treg clones from patients with Behcet's Disease (BD), in particular in those with Behcet's Eye Disease (BED), in the following referred to as Behcet's Uveitis (BU), in order to set the stage for their subsequent testing in animal models, and, later, humans, as a potential immune-based therapeutic intervention.
