Brief description of study
The purpose of the study is to examine blood samples from patients with Behcet’s Syndrome (a disease, which causes inflammation of the blood vessels) who have eye disease which is called uveitis. Uveitis is an inflammation of the inside of the eye that requires treatment and examination by an ophthalmologist (eye doctor). This study will recruit patients who have been diagnosed with Behcet’s Syndrome and have or have not had uveitis due to Behcet's Syndrome and healthy subjects, or patients who have uveitis not thought to be due to Behcet’s Syndrome, or patients who have an autoimmune disease other than Behcet’s syndrome.
