Adherence to and Beliefs on Recommendations for Behavioral Treatment for Migraine

Brief description of study

Migraine patients are oftentimes referred for evidence based behavioral therapies to prevent migraine. Yet, at follow-up visits, they report not seeing the behavioral therapist. This study seeks to survey patients before their migraine appointment to assess their beliefs and locus of control. Then, for those who are asked to see a behavioral specialist for migraine during their headache center appointment, patients will be contacted afterwards by phone to a) determine whether they made the appointment and reasons for making/not making the appointment and b) assess their coping skills.
