Understand the role of sleep in complicated grief: A pilot study

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to examine differences in sleep characteristics in adults with Complicated Grief (CG) compared to bereaved adults without Complicated Grief or other mental health concerns. After medical and psychiatric evaluations are completed, eligible participants will complete a 3-day home polysomnography(PSG) sleep assessment in addition to several self-report sleep and psychiatric measures. This study will be enrolling individuals ages 25-60 who have experienced the death of a loved one.
