Brief description of study

Stem cell biology has emerged as a rapidly developing and controversial field in contemporary medical science. A new era of stem cell therapy has begun with grafting of stem cells from umbilical cord blood for treatment of disease. The traditional bone marrow stem cell grafts may be replaced by a more available and possibly more efficacious source, human umbilical cord blood harvested from placentas after delivery of the infant
