3D 1H NMR Spectroscopy in Multiple Sclerosis

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to develop new magnetic resonance(imaging)methods to evaluate multiple sclerosis (MS) and improve our understanding about the course of this disorder. This study is looking to enroll participants as normal aged matched subjects in this study to help compare changes in chemical compounds in the brain of the MS patients to normal healthy brains. Use of Mangetic Resonance Imaging and 3D 1H spectroscopy will be used to evaluate the brains of patients with documented Multiple Sclerosis matched with age and gender controls.
