A Prospective Outcomes Study of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Patients Compared to Open Spine Surgery Patients
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to examine patients undergoing spine surgery with lumbar spinal disease. This study intends to determine the short and long term advantages for different surgical procedures. If you are an adult who will undergo spine surgery. Your participation in this study will not involve any additional visits. Information for this study will be collected at routine pre-operative visit and then routine post-operative follow up visits at 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, and 5 years. You will also be asked to complete standard questionnaires and health information from the medical records including results of previous radiographic imaging tests will be collected.
