Does Patient Preparedness Translate to Patient Satisfaction in Gender-Confirming Surgery? A Prospective Single-Center Study of Preoperative Educational Videos in Male-to-Female Penile Inversion Vaginoplasty

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to find the best way to tell patients about their surgeries, a process known as “preoperative counseling.” The goal of this study is to show how different preoperative counseling techniques can change a patient’s understanding of their surgeries, in terms of what they should expect before and after their procedure is performed. Patient satisfaction and quality of life affected by different preoperative counseling methods will also be examined. This study involves completing an online survey.
