A Multi-Center Randomized Controlled Study of Efficacy and Safety of the OXINIUM DH Total Hip Replacement System in Subjects with Non-Inflammatory Arthritis

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to determine how safe the OXINIUM™ DH Hip System (liner and femoral head, parts of the device needed to match the ball and socket design of the hip) is and how well the OXINIUM™ DH Hip System works in patients with non-inflammatory arthritis in their hip compared to another total hip system. The OXINIUM™ DH Hip System is considered investigational or experimental in this study because the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved OXINIUM™DH Hip System for general use. The study will be for ten (10) years from the date of your surgery. It will involve up to ten (10) office visits and five (5) visits via the telephone. These visits will serve as the routine visits for the hip replacement.
