Evaluation of the bowel cleansing in hospitalized population using Pure-Vu System

Brief description of study

The purpose of this clinical study is to see how well the Pure-Vu system works when used during standard colonoscopy procedures in hospitalized patients who are indicated for colonoscopy procedure. The Pure-Vu system is a single-use device that attaches to a standard colonoscope, and allows for additional colon cleansing during the colonoscopy procedure. The device, on its various models, was previously tested in more than 200 colonoscopy procedures. The Pure-Vu® System is FDA-cleared for the way it is used in this study. When using the Pure-Vu, and if the your colon is poorly prepared, your doctor can clean the colon with the Pure-Vu, potentially ensuring a clean colon during the colonoscopy, improving colon cancer detection rate and reducing the chance of a repeated colonoscopy.
