THE ROLE OF THE MICROBIOME IN MONOZYGOTIC TWINS WITH PSORIASIS AND PSORIATIC ARTHRITIS

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Psoriatic Arthritis
Psoriasis
Age: Between 18 Year(s) - 100 Year(s)
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Subjects who are at least 18 years old
2. Subjects who are member of a MZ twin pair (or unknown zygosity pair as zygosity will be verified after enrollment) in which at least one sibling carries a diagnosis of PsO or PsO/PsA.
3. Subjects who are twin pairs are discordant for psoriatic disease
4. Subjects who are both siblings of twin pair willing to participate in the research study.

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Subjects who are pregnant
2. Subjects who are imprisoned
3. Subjects who has history of prior gastrointestinal tract surgery leaving permanent residua (e.g. gastrectomy, bariatric surgery, colectomy).
4. Subjects who have impaired cognitive ability
5. Subjects who are unable to provide written informed consent and assent to the study.
