A Prospective Multicenter Analysis of the Recurrence Patterns of Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis

Brief description of study

The purpose of this research study is to better understand recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) bylooking at where in the larynx, or voice box, this disease most commonly regrows after treatment. RRP is a disease that causes warts to form on the vocal cords. Doctors already know that the growths associated with RRP often come back after treatment, but it is not known exactly where in the voice box these growths are most likely to regrow. This study will also record the different types of therapies used to treat RRP in order to see how these treatments impact the locations where RRP regrows. Learning this information will help doctors to better educate their patients and may help develop new ways of treating RRP in the future.
