ADAPTATION TO FREQUENCY-PLACE FUNCTIONS IN COCHLEAR IMPLANT USERS
Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to understand the ways in which users of cochlear implants adapt to the way in which sound frequencies are delivered to locations in the cochlea through the implant. It is a basic study that will examine adaptation to frequency-place maps in cochlear implant users. The main outcome measures will be measures of speech and music perception, sound quality, and sensory acuity
