Chronic Endometritis and the effect on embryo implantation: A study of women undergoing Frozen Euploid Embryo Transfer

Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to understand if the presence of a specific cell type present within the lining of the uterus, has an impact on implantation in an embryo transfer. The cell type, called plasma cells, represent a mild infection or inflammation of the lining of the uterus. We seek to discover if having these cells affects the rate of implantation, or pregnancy, in embryo transfer cycles. A better understanding of the impact of these cells may help us determine why some embryo transfer cycles are successful and some are not and may help contribute to the future of the field of infertility.
