Impact of time restricted feeding in obese subjects undergoing a low-calorie diet

Brief description of study

The impact of circadian rhythms appear to impact various biologic mechanisms including sleep, nutrition, and physical activity. We wish to understand the impact of timing of food consumption and how it may affect weight loss. Participants in the study will be undergoing a low calorie diet, and we will attempt to vary the times at which participants will eat. We will examine differences in rates of weight loss over the course of two, four and eight weeks. This will be an initial pilot study in an attempt to see if there is more effective weight loss with time restricted feeding.
