Prospective Multicenter Clinical Trial of HIV+ Deceased Donor Liver Transplants for HIV+ Recipients

Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions:
Hiv
Age: Between 18 - 100 Years
Gender: Male or Female

Other Inclusion Criteria:
1. Subjects meets the standard criteria for liver transplant
2. Subjects able to understand and provide informed consent
3. Subjects meets with an independent advocate per the HOPE Act Safeguards and Research Criteria.
4. Subjects are at least 18 years old
5. Subjects must have or be willing to start seeing a primary medical care provider with expertise in HIV management
6. Subjects are willing to comply with all medications related to their transplant and HIV management
7. For subjects with a history of aspergillus colonization or disease, no current clinical evidence of active disease.
8. Subjects are not suffering from significant wasting thought to be related to HIV disease

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

1. Subjects has a history of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML), or primary CNS lymphoma
2. Subjects who are pregnant or breastfeeding
3. Subjects unable to comply with study requirements of the study
