Are you eligible to participate in this study?

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

• Conditions:
  Alcohol Use Disorder
• Age: Between 18 - 65 Years
• Gender: Male or Female

• Other Inclusion Criteria:
  

  1. Subjects must be over the age of 18 years old
  2. Subjects with DSM-5 diagnosis of moderate or severe AUD
  3. Subjects with DSM-5 diagnosis of PTSD with a Clinician Administered PTSD Scale current symptom score > 25
  4. Subjects able to provide voluntary informed consent
  5. Subjects who had at least 10 heavy drinking days (4 or more drinks for a woman, 5 or more drinks for a man) in the 30 days prior to screen
  6. Subjects who are not currently in treatment for AUD

  
  

You may not be eligible for this study if the following are true:

• 1. Subjects who are current alcohol withdrawal
  2. Subjects with exclusionary medical conditions
  3. Subjects with DSM-5 diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder
  4. Subjects with high risk of adverse emotional or behavioral reaction based on investigator’s clinical evaluation
  5. Subjects who are current suicidality
  6. Subjects who are current Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
  7. Subjects with DSM-5 diagnosis of current moderate or severe substance use disorder for a substance other than alcohol or nicotine
  8. Subjects with marijuana or other cannabinoid use within 30 days prior to screen
  9. Subjects with significant laboratory abnormalities, including significantly impaired liver function, serious abnormalities of complete blood count or metabolic panel
  10. Subjects with active legal problems likely to result in incarceration within 12 weeks of treatment initiation
  11. Subjects who are pregnant or lactating
  12. Subjects currently using exclusionary medications
